Larry Eifert Jigsaw Puzzle; Two Sides of the Sea

Larry Eifert has been painting nature professionally for 40 years. No artist has more work in America’s National Parks, refuges and preserves. We love stocking the Larry Eifert series of jigsaw puzzles; they are colorful and fun to put together and everyone learns a little something about our regional natural history. The Two Sides of the Sea puzzle has 500 pieces that depict a fantastic scene of a cove in the San Juan Islands, Washington’s Mt. Baker in the background. In the words of Larry on the box of this puzzle, “Nature is like a giant jigsaw puzzle. Many pieces are tangled together to form one large ecosystem – or single picture.” This intricate web is easily seen in Two Sides of the Sea, where animals from the land, sea, and air all coexist and interact in one incredible tidal ecosystem. There is a mixture of 36 amazing shore birds, sea mammals, and tidal organisms depicted in this puzzle, with a key showing where in the puzzle to find them on the back of the box.
