The Trinity Alps Wilderness is a stunning natural area located in northwestern California. With over 515,000 acres of backcountry land, it is one of the largest parcels in the state. The wilderness features high, rough ridges with peaks ranging from 7,000 to 9,000 feet in elevation, deep glacial canyons, and breathtaking mountain meadows. It encompasses portions of three National Forests: Shasta-Trinity, Klamath, and Six Rivers.
