The Secrets of the Old Growth Forest puzzle’s 500 pieces depict a beautiful scene of coastal redwood forest, which is teaming with life, as you can see from this piece. There are 70 species of plants and animals represented in this puzzle, including the lovely varied thrush, anna’s hummingbird, oyster mushrooms, trilliums, redwood violets, a rough-skinned newt, and much more! All species are listed on the back of the box with a key showing where to find them in the painting. This particular painting of Larry’s is installed in the visitor center at Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park near Orick, California.
