Cedar Flicker House – Songbird Essentials
Northern flickers are beautiful birds and delightful to have around your home. Here at the Northwest Nature Shop we often hear about woodpeckers pecking under the eaves of people’s homes. This can be loud and annoying and we advise to install a flicker house to encourage flickers to take up residence in this already built house rather than try to make a hole in your home. These woodpeckers are wonderful neighbors because of the large number of insect pests they eat, as well as the number of homes they create for other wildlife.
