The Squirrel Buster Mini keeps your feeding area free of squirrels, saving seeds and money. Openings in the wire shroud surrounding the feeder align with the seed ports and provide birds access to the seed. When a squirrel climbs onto the feeder, its weight automatically forces the shroud down, closing access to the seed ports. Squirrels and many large birds are foiled.

The Squirrel Buster Mini from Brome Bird Care has all the most up to date technologies for bird safety. U-shaped perches are easy for the widest variety of birds to use and the whole feeder disassembles easily without tools. My favorite feature is the seed tube ventilation system. Typical acrylic seed feeders act as a greenhouse allowing humidity (and later mold) to build up inside the feeder. The patented ventilation system allows cooler air to enter through vents at the bottom and the warm and humid air flows out waterproof vents in the lid of the feeder this keeps seeds fresher and safer for the birds. The perches can be removed to only allow clinging birds to feed comfortably, although jays will probably still try to feed. The weight sensitivity is set at the factory for 4 ounces so chipmunks, which weigh about the same as many feeder birds are not stopped by this (or any other weight activated feeder).
