DESCRIPTION:“Owls are magical creatures most often used for delivering post and parcels in the wizarding world. They are known for their speed and discretion and can find recipients without an address.” – J.K. Rowling \nWildlife Images will bring real live owls to Northwest Nature Shop for downtown Ashland’s Harry Potter birthday celebration Friday July 31st 4-6 pm.  Owls are a widely used creature in J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter novels.  For Muggles these feathered creatures can be mysterious and spooky\, but in the wizarding world they’re magical\, often friendly\, and useful. \nWildlife Images Rehabilitation and Education Center located in Merlin\, Oregon provides for the care and treatment of sick\, injured and orphaned wildlife.  Thousands of children visit the center each year on educational field trips\, enhancing their knowledge of nature and wildlife preservation.  For Harry Potter’s birthday celebration\, they will bring their owls to the Northwest Nature Shop so children and adults can see live owls up-close and learn all about them.  The owls will be outside with space for social distancing.  \nWe ask everyone who joins us to wear a mask and follow social distancing rules. \n
