SUMMARY:Spring Bird Hike

Many songbirds are arriving now to breed or are just passing through the Rogue Valley on their way north. Many species including Warblers\, Vireos\, Grosbeaks\, Flycatchers\, and many more will be out filling the air with their beautiful songs! We will hike through the Riverwalk Park and North Mountain Park to try and find as many birds as possible. Expect 30-35 species. \nCost is $10 per person\, and the class is capped at 12. Be prepared for adverse weather. Bring a water bottle\, a pair of binoculars\, and a bird field guide if you have one. Also\, we recommend downloading the Merlin ID app by Cornell University.  \nCall 541-482-3241 to sign up\, stop by NW Nature Shop during business hours (10 am-6pm)\, or email northwestnatureshop@gmail.com
