Sun Print Workshop
Join us to learn about the principles of photography and then make a sun print to take home! Kids will explore how light can transform the Sunprint paper similar to photography. The blue molecules embedded in the paper are sensitive to ultra-violet light. We will arrange objects onto the 4″x4″ Sunprint paper indoors. We will then take it outside & lay it out to expose the paper. The areas of the paper exposed to the sun will fade from blue to white (2-5 minutes). We will then rinse the paper in water & whatever was not exposed will washout & be white. A piece of art is created. For ages 5+
Join us to learn about the principles of photography while making a sun print to take home! Kids 5+ and adults will explore how light exposure can transform the Sunprint paper, much like how photography works, while learning a fun new art form that is powered by the sun!
