Spring Morel Hike

Spring is here, and it’s morel season once again! Morel mushrooms are not only delicious, but an essential part of our local forest ecosystem. Join Bashira Muhamad of Zoom Out Mycology for an informative day out in the woods to learn about mushrooms, and search for prized morel mushrooms. We will be discussing fungal ecology, and sustainable harvest practices for mushroom foraging. The location will be within 20-45 minutes from Ashland, and the final destination will be determined nearer to the date, since mushroom season is variable each year.
$30 per participant, payment due upon sign up. Full refund available until Tuesday May 14th, and otherwise we will refund 50% payment.
