Spring Guided Wild Mushroom Hike

The Northwest Nature Shop is offering 2 Guided Mushroom Hikes to learn about our local wild mushrooms on Sunday, May 15th and Sunday May, 22nd. Sign up for one or both.  Local mushroom experts John Teem and Mike Potts will offer their expertise and guide a walk in search of mushrooms. The emphasis will be on finding fungi and learning something about identification and the diversity of mushroom species. Edible and poisonous varieties will be discussed.  Typically, mushrooms abound at this time of year.  Meet at the Northwest Nature Shop, 154 Oak St., Ashland at 10:00 am on May 15^th or May 22nd to carpool.  Cost is $25 per person per hike.  Space is limited so sign up early!
