Rogue River Preserve Natural History Hike

Focus: Natural History of a private property on the Rogue River
Description: Explore this special property with naturalist Dave Garcia. This hike will go farther afield than the ecology walk including visiting the northern rocky river access and the slough. If you have them, bring your binoculars. Southern Oregon Land Conservancy is pursuing an option to purchase this beautiful 352-acre property.
Limit: 20
Meeting Location: Meet in White City to carpool to the Preserve near Dodge Bridge County Park in Eagle Point. Exact meeting location and directions will be emailed upon registration.
Difficulty: Moderate relatively flat hike on roads, trails, and off-trail up to x miles. Weed seeds and ticks may be present so long pants are advised. A portable toilet is available at the preserve.
