Make a Basic Southern Oregon Bird Field Guide

Bird watching is increasingly popular because of the simple pleasure of being outdoors and observing the daily lives of the birds that coexist with us. Introducing Children to bird watching is a great way to increase their observational skills and pay attention to the natural world. In this class for we’ll highlight a few of the most common birds and learn about their behavior and how to easily identify them while we are out and about in Southern Oregon. Join the Northwest Nature Shop on Sunday Feb 5th at 2 pm to make a your own Southern Oregon Bird Field Guide for Kids. Christy Chow will be leading this class.
