Guided Mushroom Hike #3

The last of our series of 3 wild mushroom hikes led by Mushroom Expert Mike Potts.  Potts will lead a slow-paced walk through the woods to teach about the world of wild fungi. The emphasis will be on finding fungi and learning something about identification and the diversity of mushroom species. Edible and poisonous varieties will be discussed. Meet at the Northwest Nature Shop, 154 Oak St., Ashland at 10:00 am to carpool. Return to Ashland by 3:00 pm. Be prepared for adverse weather. Wear appropriate hiking shoes, bring a water bottle, a lunch, and rain gear. Cost is $35 per person per hike.  Fall dates offered are Oct 12, Oct 20 and Nov 9. Space is limited so sign up early!
