Explorations at Vesper Meadow: SOU Graduate Student Research Stories

Meet SOU Environmental Education Graduate Students Elva Manquera, and Crytal Nichols, conducting local research as part of the new Vesper Meadow Restoration Project.

Elva and Crystal’s research marks the launch of Vesper Meadow community science monitoring programs and is designed to be continued in public programs for years to come. Come hear these two “quick talks” and stories they amassed along the way: from caddisfly larvae in their stone homes, getting stranded while searching for signs of beaver, and pounding in metal posts for reference points in the snow.
