Join Author Stewart Janes, retired SOU ornithology professor, for a talk about his new book Birds of Crater Lake National Park: A Natural History and Guide, Published by OSU Press.
Life at Crater Lake National Park presents many challenges to the diverse birdlife present. Hostile weather and limited food resources in a low productivity environment are just a couple. Stewart will discuss various survival strategies that birds use at high elevations while introducing the birds through the outstanding photos of Jim Livaudais.
