A Forest of Your Own: The Pacific Northwest Handbook of Ecological Forestry Presentation by co-author Seth Zuckerman

Co-author of A Forest of Your Own: The Pacific Northwest Handbook of Ecological Forestry, Seth Zukerman will discuss forest management and ecological forestry on Monday June 3rd at 7 pm at Northwest Nature Shop.  From those who own forested property already to those who dream of someday having a forest to call their own and everyone in between, this presentation will explore  how to “read” a forest, sustainable management, wildfire risk reduction, climate change adaptation, ways to enhance wildlife habitat and watershed protection.

As a journalist, SETH ZUCKERMAN reported extensively on forests, salmon, and the human communities that depend on them. He is the executive director of the Northwest Natural Resource Group and author of several books, including Saving Our Ancient Forests and Salmon Nation.

Presentation is at Northwest Nature Shop.  Seating is limited so arrive early to secure a seat. There is no charge for this event.
