Bird Walk to Ashland Pond

Birds have a unique ability to inspire and delight us. They connect us with nature, with the passage of seasons, and with each other. Bird-watching has become the most popular outdoor activity in the US with an estimated 50 to 80 million participants. There’s a wonderful world just waiting to be explored, so get into birds!
On Sunday, April 2nd at 9 am join Northwest Nature Shop of Ashland as we visit Ashland Pond, an Ashland birding hotspot. Waterfowl, raptors, and possible river otter and beaver sightings will round out the morning. Expect about 2 miles of walking on gentle paths. Please bring binoculars if you have them and look forward to an enjoyable excursion into the wonderful world of birds!
Bird walk participants will meet at 9:00 am at the Northwest Nature Shop, 154 Oak St. Ashland. Space is limited so please call the Northwest Nature Shop at 541-482-3241
